We have started auditing transitions to ISO 15189:2012.
As accreditations proceed for medical laboratory testing and pathological examinations, there has been debate about whether to add physiological testing to the list of accreditations.
In July, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare issued a notice about its basic policy on quality controls in medical laboratory testing for clinical trials, focusing attention on the importance of third-party accreditation in medical laboratory testing.
JAB is working toward being able to contribute to this system in order to improve the quality of healthcare in Japan and the health of its citizens.
